    Way Off Broadway Productions is our sister-theater in Oak Run. Spawned from Little Theater in 1997, they present a musical each fall. Many of our cast and crew members participate in both groups.

    Since its beginning, Bay Street Players has been a theatre of actors, by actors, and for actors. Thanks to the vision of Dale Carpenter, the Bay Street Players produced many shows which had never been performed before in Lake County.

    GCP is one of the oldest community theaters in the State of Florida, having produced our first show in 1927. Each year our season consists of six shows - usually three musicals and three dramas or comedies.
  • The Hippodrome State Theatre

    The Hippodrome was founded in 1972 by six artists (Bruce Cornwell, Gregory Hausch, Mary Hausch, Kerry McKinney, Marilyn Wall and Orin Wechsberg) with the goal of presenting the best in challenging, contemporary theater. By its official founding date of April 18, 1973, the Hippodrome had acquired a name, established a home in a converted hardware/convenience store and selected a season of plays and theater classes for children.
  • Little Theatre of New Smyrna Beach

    The Little Theatre of New Smyrna Beach was formed in 1947 by a group of arts-minded citizens. Plays were first performed at the Chamber of Commerce Building on Canal Street and later in an old converted barn. In 1953 the present building located at 726 3rd Avenue on the beachside was built on land donated to the Little Theatre by Hannah D. Bonnet, former Mayor of New Smyrna Beach, whose portrait hangs in our lobby.
