Donna Bachhuber
Donna and her husband Paul, both natives of New York State, moved to Oak Run from their Kentucky home in 1993. Among other things, Donna is currently the web site coordinator for both the Little Theatre and Way Off Broadway web sites.
She joined Little Theatre in 2004 and has chaired many committees including Advertising Chairman, Reading Committee for "RUMORS", Publicity Chairman, Assistant Director, Interior Set Designer, co-chaired the 4th of July parade as well as being 2nd Vice President in 2007. Donna is Assistant Director for the 2008 production of "Love, Sex and the I.R.S.", and was a member of the reading committee, and is on committees for advertising, ticket sales and dinner theatre. In 2007, she produced and directed the live radio broadcast of "The Lone Ranger - Trouble at the Rafter H".
Donna's Way Off Broadway productions include: advertising committee for "Give My Regards to Broadway, "Annie Get Your Gun", "South Pacific" and "Guys and Dolls". She ushered for "South Pacific", was the ticket chairperson for "Guys and Dolls", and assistant director for "Love, Sex and the I.R.S.".
Della Blanchard
Della has been involved in just about every aspect of Little Theatre and even performed in the production of "The Party". She has been Chairperson for the Dinner Theatre since it's inception and is hard at work with the upcoming production of "Love, Sex and the I.R.S.". Since becoming a member, she has chaired or was on committees for reading, ushering, house manager, ticket sales, telephone caller, wardrobe and costumes, flyers and ticket designs, program designer, parties and special events and has been a member of the Executive Board.
Della came to Florida from Michigan and said she was pressured into joining in 1999. Lucky for us she was; she didn't say who brought her to the first meeting, but we're glad he or she did.
Chuck Boettcher
Chuck joined Little Theatre in 2007 and became our Photographer/Historian for "RUMORS" and has done a superb job. Along with this important position, he has been on committees for reading, advertising, ticket sales and assisted with the construction of sets and refreshments. Along with being Photographer/Historia, he is co-producer for the 2008 production of "Love, Sex and the I.R.S.". Chuck lived in Kentucky and Michigan before moving to Florida.
Lyn Burtch
Lyn decided to join Little Theatre because her husband Mike was a member. She has been a member of the "strike party" ever since.
Mike Burtch
Mike tells us he was recruited by Della Blanchard; thanks Della! Mike is another member that comes to us from Michigan. Since joining he has worked on the construction of sets, ushered, and been a member of the ticket sales committee. Mike played Dade Shelby in our recreation of the live radio broadcast of "The Lone Ranger - Trouble at the Rafter H" during our 2007 guest night presentation.
Linda Dalesandry
Linda joined Little Theatre in 2007 after being a guest at one of our meetings. She didn't waste any time becoming active in the theatre group, she participated in our recreation of the live radio broadcast of "The Lone Ranger - Trouble at the Rafter H" as a member of the sound effects team, and quickly moved on to being co-stage manager for the 2008 production of "Love, Sex and the I.R.S.". Linda is always willing to help out when and where ever she can on the various committees.
Katie Doyle
Katie joined Little Theatre in 1990 and came to Florida by way of Albany, New York.
She was the first Little Theatre President. Her previous experience includes being in local theatre productions. She appeared in Little Theatre's version of "The Odd Couple".
Dorothy DuBois
Dorothy joined Little Theatre in 2007. According the Dorothy, her first experience in acting was being Old Mother Hubbard in first grade. Since becoming a member, she has appeared as Clarabelle Hornblow in the reproduction of the live radio broadcast of "The Lone Ranger - Trouble at the Rafter H".
Dorothy is also a member of Way Off Broadway and appeared in the 2007 production of "Guys and Dolls" as a dancer and a very "sophisticated" lady during the overture.
Dee Gragg
Dee, a former resident of Nashville, TN, has a background in ballet and tap dancing. She had a leading role in the 2007 production of "RUMORS" and is serving as 2nd Vice President on the Executive Board for the 2008 season. She is the person to go to for "everything". She is our scheduler, has chaired the reading committee, been a member of the ticket sale committee, assisted in designing the set for "RUMORS", designs programs, t-shirts, assisted in costume design. She has another leading role in the 2008 production of "Love, Sex and the I.R.S." Nothing stops this determined lady. She can't get enough of the theatre.
Dee is also a member of Way Off Broadway and was in the production of "Give My Regards to Broadway", "Annie Get Your Gun", South Pacific", and "Guys and Dolls".
Linda Holland Glick
Linda has been a member for 10 years. She said she tried out for a play, got the part and has been a member ever since. She has appeared in "The Cemetery Club", and "The Odd Couple". She has also worked on the ticket sale committees, make-up, and has been a dinner theatre server. According to Linda, being a member has enriched her life both personally and socially. She came to Florida from New York.
Marci Hutto
Marci joined Little Theatre in 2007, stating she after reading about our theatre group in the monthly newsletter, she was eager to become a member. Her first audition was a success! She was awarded the role of "Connie" in the 2008 production of "Love, Sex and the I.R.S." She is looking forward to being a cast member of future productions, and we are looking forward to her participation as well.
Marci had previous experience in theatre while in high school, college and with her church. She helped direct several youth and children's productions including "Reader's Theater", which were plays presented by her 4th grade reading classes.
Bob Kreider
Bob became interested in theatre after marrying his wife Bonnie in 2004. He has worked behind the curtain as both stage manager and lighting engineer. He was stage manager for "RUMORS" and co-stage manager "Love, Sex and the I.R.S".
Bob is also a member of Way Off Broadway and his past productions include "Annie Get Your Gun", "South Pacific" and "Guys and Dolls".
Bonnie Kreider
Bonnie has graced our stage in two productions; "Who's In Bed with the Butler" and "RUMORS". She hails from Maryland and she and husband Bob live a very active life in Oak Run. She enjoys sharing the stage with her brother Lou.
Bonnie is also a member of Way Off Broadway and has appeared in several productions.
Olga Millan
Olga became a member in 2004 as a guest of Donna Bachhuber. Since joining she has been a very valuable asset in keeping our members informed about meeting dates and special events. She has been on committees for ticket sales, ticket takers, advertising and our official telephone caller. Olga comes to us by way of New York.
Jeanne Paletta
Jeanne became a member after attending a production and was very impressed with the quality of the performance. She has participated as a member of the Reading Committee, ticket sales, parades, entertainment director, contributor to the newsletter, Channel 12 and The Citizen. She has Chaired the Publicity Committee and Nominations and Elections Committee.
Jeanne has past experience from her high school shows and church pageants. She resided in Pennsylvania before moving to Florida.
Lila Mauro
Lila said she became a member because she is a "ham". She has appeared in several Little Theatre performances and has been president and vice president, actress, director and writer. Her acting performances include being a cast member in "Home Run", "The Income Tax"," When God Comes to Breakfast you Don't Burn The Toast", "The Odd Couple", The Cemetery Club" and many skits. She had theatrical experience in the Catskill Mountains as a teenager.
Glory McDougall
Glory has been a member for two years and joined because she is a fan of the theatre.
She has assisted Della Blanchard with the Dinner Theatre, and has been on committees for the parade, telephone callers and ushering. She was a member of a local theatre group when she resided in Illinois prior to relocating to Florida.
Judith Polter
Judith graduated High School as "Class Actress", and went on to major in theatrical arts at Hunter College in New York city, where she became President of the Campus Theatre for two years. While at Hunter, she studied and participated in all aspects of theater including performing significant rolls in "The Little Foxes" and "The Boyfriend", and directing a range of shows from timely revues to high drama. Judith continued to enjoy singing, dancing, acting, choreography and directing while in Long Island in local theatre groups where she danced and sang as Bonnie in "Anything Goes" and performed as Miss Prism in "The Importance of Being Earnest". Since joining our Oak Run community, Judith has performed on stage in numerous Little Theatre productions including "Lend Me a Tenor" and "Who's In Bed with the Butler", and is performing the role of Vivian in the 2008 production of "Love, Sex and the I.R.S."
Judith is also a member of Way Off Broadway and directed the 2007 performance of "Guys and Dolls".
Diane Porterfield
Diane became a member when she appeared in "Royal Affair". She has held many positions since joining our group including ticket sales, ticket taker, advertising and ushering, as well as serving on the Dinner Theatre Committee for "Love, Sex and the I.R.S.". Diane started acting as a child in Community Theater, school and church. She directed both her junior and senior year high school plays. She appeared as Hester in Little Theatre's production of "Royal Affair", and as Agnes in "Who's In Bed with the Butler?"
Diane is a founding member of Way Off Broadway which was founded in 1998. She has performed in or directed a production for them every year since it's inception.
Frank Porterfield
Frank became a Little Theatre member in 1997. He has appeared in Little Theatre's productions of "Royal Affair", "Who's In Bed with the Butler, "Let's Murder Marsha" and "Rumors". His past theatrical experience was as a sailor in the chorus of HMS Pinafore in his 8th grade class.
Frank is also a member of Way Off Broadway and has appeared in, directed or produced every play since its inception.
Steve Rudminas
Steve made his stage debut in Little Theatre's 2007 production of "RUMORS". He also plays a major role as Leslie in the 2008 production of "Love, Sex and the I.R.S." It didn't take Steve long to catch the acting bug - he's a natural.
He enjoys acting so much that he also became a member of Way Off Broadway, and played the role of Big Julie in their 2007 production of "Guys and Dolls".
Art Schmidt
Although Art doesn't have acting experience in the theatre, he is one of our most needed behind the scenes person. Art is our technical director and is in charge of set design, lighting, set construction and the sound system. He was also a member of the executive board and has been a reading committee member. A little known fact about Art is he was a commercial construction estimator and project manager in New Jersey, Saudi Arabia and Russia.
Art is also a member of Way Off Broadway and lends his skills to our sister group.
Diana Schmidt
Diana is another one of our great behind the scenes assets. She not only assists her husband Art with the sound and lighting systems, but has also chaired, and been a member of, many committees. Diana was the Business Manager for "RUMORS" and "Love, Sex and the I.R.S." Her responsibilities are numerous. She is involved with ticket sales, graphics, programs and ushering. Diana is also the one we turn to for refreshments at each meeting.
Peg Studer
Peg has been a member since 1997 and has been a true thespian for the past 40 years. She has not only been on the Executive Board of Little Theatre, but has produced and directed many plays. She has credits galore including set designer, scheduler, ticket sales, advertising, wardrobe and costumer, program editor, and parade, parties and special events planner/member.
She and her husband Arn started a theatrical group called "Theatre One" of Kennett Square, Pa., a local theater group, with The Culinary Brothers (the Immediatos), professionally known as "The Three Little Bakers". The group continues to this day. She was a member of the Marion County Community players, and had theatrical experience in both high school and college.
The Little Theatre productions Peg has been involved in are "Let's Murder Marsha", "Ship or Get off the Yacht", "Who's in Bed with the Butler", "Lend Me a Tenor", "RUMORS" and co-director and co-producer of "Love, Sex and the I.R.S."
Although Peg was a member of Way Off Broadway for three years and participated in the production of "Bedside Manor", "Wagon Wheels West" and "Cinderella Meets the Wolfman"; she had to make a choice between the two theatre groups. There wasn't enough time to truly devote to both clubs and she decided, "Little Theatre is where my heart is!"
Arn Studer
Arn, a retired veterinarian from Chadds Ford, Pa., has been past president of Little Theatre and co-directed and co-produced of several plays on behalf of both Little Theatre and Way Off Broadway. He and his wife Peg have been involved with Community Theatre for over 40 years and they bring much expertise to Oak Run Little Theatre.
While he was still a practicing veterinarian, Arn and his wife were instrumental in forming "Theatre One" of Kennett Square, Pa., a local theater group, with The Culinary Brothers (the Immediatos), professionally known as "The Three Little Bakers". In their younger years, the brothers appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show as an acrobatic act. They went on to develop a very successful endeavor known today as "The Three Little Bakers Dinner Theatre" of Newark, Delaware.
Arn is co-producer and co-director of the 2008 production of "Love, Sex and the I.R.S."
Charlie Takesian
Charlie debuted in the 2007 production of "RUMORS" and couldn't wait to audition for the next year's play. He was accepted as the role of Mr. Jansen and will be seen in the 2008 production of "Love, Sex and the I.R.S.". He said he had the yen to be on stage for a long time and claims "a friend threatened me to audition - or else!"
Linda Noel Winkelman
Linda and her husband Lou moved to Oak Run from Baltimore, MD. She has been Little Theatre's Ticket Sales Chairperson for 2 years and had been an usher, managed refreshments and is another one of our great behind the scenes members. You name it, and Linda will assist.
Linda is also a member of Way Off Broadway and served on the Executive Board and personally decorated a golf cart on behalf of Way Off Broadway for the Oak Run July 4th parade for the 2007 production of "Guys and Dolls".
Lou Winkelman
Lou and his wife Linda are former residents of Baltimore, Maryland. Lou is a very talented individual whose acting career reaches back through his school years. He was the emcee for talent shows performed at the high school he attended, acted in several plays while in college, and was by his own admission "on stage every day as a physical education teacher" until he retired from his professional career. He has appeared in "Lend Me a Tenor" and "Who's In Bed with the Butler". The role for which he is most remembered is as Lenny in the 2007 production of "RUMORS". His portrayal of the injured "Charlie Brock" at the conclusion of the play was the longest and most difficult set of lines an actor could encounter - and he did it to perfection. He has a leading role in "Love, Sex and the I.R.S." playing the character of Jon. In 2008 he served as 1st Vice President on the Executive Committee, and even finds time off to golf.
Lou is also a member of Way Off Broadway and has appeared in "Annie Get Your Gun", "South Pacific", and "Guys and Dolls". He is brother to Bonnie Kreider, who is also a member of both theatre groups.
Richard Zinck
Richard joined Little Theatre in 2005 through the enticement of Judith and Alan Polter.
He has helped with construction and removal of sets, ushering, and setting up tables for the Dinner Theatre. He has also assisted the House Manager with Hot Line Ticket Sales.
As a young teenager he participated in a few plays at his local community church, but didn't make his acting debut until November 2007. He played Thunder Martin our reproduction of the Live Radio Broadcast of "The Lone Ranger - Trouble at the Rafter H".
He must have enjoyed acting because he has gone on to play the role of Arnold Grunion in the 2008 production of "Love, Sex and the I.R.S.".
